Periodontal disease is a chronic disease, and it is extremely important to treat the disease properly to ensure that the disease remains inactive. Preventing periodontal disease is extremely important to a patients overall health. With proper oral hygiene along with regular dental cleanings and check ups, teeth can be kept healthy and strong and for a lifetime.
